Rae Dawn Pruit is the founder and Co-owner of Miscellaneous Q Productions. With four published books to her credit this author, poet, screenwriter, and active Oregonian is now turning her attention to a central focus; making great independent films. Rae lives in McMinnville, Oregon. However, that is rarely the place to meet her as her expansive travels have lead her all over the globe and it should be no surprise to see her in your town should the mood strike. Rae's sincere sensibility has produced a resume of environmental consciousness, societal kindness, and humanitarian edge. Going forward Miscellaneous Q Productions is not only looking to make great films, but also to publish great literature. Rae Dawn's fifth book lies in wait as a potential pioneer for the Misc. Q Productions publishing arm, Tongue in Cheek Ink. In any capacity Rae's talent level shines through and though she wears many hats, this young visionary is at her core, an amazing writer.

Who is the mysterious Dean Carmichael? Is Dean really a person, or just an artful dodger? He is all that and more. Dean has taken his passion for writing and vision for great film and channeled them into the formation of Miscellaneous Q Productions, a screenplay and production company. He leads by example by shattering the boundaries of his own writing with enlightened vision, form, and drive. As founder and co-owner of Miscellaneous Q Productions, he has also given future would be writers a viable venue to publish their work with the creation of Tongue-In-Cheek, Ink., a publishing arm of Miscellaneous Q. With his own film library cataloguing in the realm of over 600 works, he proclaims himself an elitist. In an age of mass production and mass media, only the best of the best earn a place in his collection. It’s his devotion to the art of writing and film that beckons him to not only demand better writing, but better filmmaking as he does his part to leave his mark on the independent film scene. The rest of his hours are spent chasing down a recalcitrant muse who is moonlighting somewhere as Miss Q.
